The Art of Spiritual Alchemy is a
two-fold work of twelve steps designed to help the individual spiritual
alchemist become an enlightened individual filled with Alchemical Gold and
possessing the Philosopher's Stone. Spiritual Alchemy will assist the
worker in becoming the person he or she wants to become.
EMERALD TABLET
The Emerald Tablet by Hermes Trismegistus presented here was translated by Dr. Juliet Ashley during 1943 and formed a part of the teachings of the Ashley lineage of the Holy Order of the Golden Dawn. The commentary was added by Dr. John Gilbert in 1976 to honor his teacher and to explain the process according to the teachings of the Alchemical Fellowship.
The Kybalion by author or authors unknown but called the Three Initiates, is one of the basic textbooks for Spiritual Alchemy. This is a textbook of working principles, but as the authors say: The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of understanding. The Guardians recommend this book to you. THE PATTERN ON THE TRESTLEBOARD
This version was translated by Rhodonn Starrus, D.D. and Betty Jean McCloud Reeves, D.D. with the annotation by Dr. John Gilbert. This particular annotation is considered to be one of the best available.
The Turba Philosophorum ( ter' - bah, pheye' - low - saw - four' - um ) is the oldest known complete alchemical text. It comes down to us in eleventh century Latin and is thought to have been written in 1084 A.D. There is much controversy as to the original date of publication. Authors generally place the book as having been written sometime between 1000 and 1200 A.D.
TURBA PHILOSOPHORUM - COMMENTARY
